PRINCIPLES OF CROP PROTECTION

Dr. Adesina Jacobs Mobolade has over 15 years of teaching and research experience and currently, he is the Head of Department, Crop Production Technology Department, Rufus Giwa Polytechnic, Owo, Ondo State, Nigeria. He holds PhD, Masters in Agricultural Technology, and Post Graduate Diploma from the Federal University of Technology, Akure, Ondo, State, Nigeria. Bachelor in Agriculture (Crop Science) and Higher National Diploma (HND) in Crop Production Technology from the National Open University of Nigeria and Federal College of Agriculture, Moor Plantation, Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria respectively. He is a member of many professional bodies.

Dr Adesina is a recipient of the Prestigious CV Raman Fellowship for African Researcher (2014), The World of Academy of Science, Research and Advanced Training Fellowship (2015), and the Netherland Fellowship Programme (2012). Between 2014 and 2016 he was at the Institute of Bioresources for Sustainable Development, Imphal, Manipur, India as a Research Fellow.

He is a Resource Person to the National Board for Technical (NBTE) on accreditation and a member of the curriculum review for HND Pest Management Technology. He serves as an External Examiner to some Polytechnics and Colleges of Agriculture as well as PhD examiner to some universities in India. Dr Adesina has to his credit over 100 published articles in peer-reviewed journals, conference proceedings, and two (2) textbooks. He is happily married with children.
